
Recipient nominations
​​Every year it falls upon us to select the recipient of our efforts for the following year. We have very strict procedures to ensure fairness in the selection process.
It is so important to do this as it is YOUR MONEY, not that of the committee, so it is up to you who we select.

Each year walkers, who walked that year and have paid in their sponsor money, and Registered Support Team members, who helped in that year, have the opportunity to nominate and vote for an organisation to receive the proceeds from the following years challenge walk.

If you are eligible and would like to nominate a local charity to be the recipient for the 2026 walk. Please email your nomination to lswalkapplication@gmail.com with the subject 'Nomination' by 31st July 2025. Please state whether you are a Walker or Registered Support Team member, the name of the charity, not for profit organisation or group being nominated and a brief description of the activities/services provided and how the money may be used.
